411 IDENTIFIED homeless student in the Lincoln County School District!

Thats not a typo, over 400 students are classified as homeless in Lincoln county.
25.8% of children in the county are living below the poverty line!

What does it mean to be a homeless child (McKinney-Vento)

Sharing the housing of other persons, living in motels, hotels, trailer parks, or camping grounds , emergency or transitional shelters, abandoned in hospitals, awaiting foster care placement.
Nighttime residence that is a public or private place not designed for or ordinarily used as a regular sleeping accommodation for human beings.
Living in cars, parks, public spaces, abandoned buildings, substandard housing, bus or train stations.

In laymen's terms, hundreds of children in Lincoln County are
living in conditions you wouldn't let your dog sleep in!
